In Apeldoorn, vlak naast Paleis Het Loo, staat een schuur met een opvallend hoge schuurdeur, genaamd De Olifantenstal. Daar woonden ooit twee olifanten, ver voordat de eerste dierentuin in Nederland werd opgericht.
